Amplify Light - a 1st level Transmutation spell that increases non-magical light strength.
Analyze Device - a 1st level Divination spell that allows you to identify what a mechanical device's purpose is.
Ancestor's Strength - a 1st level Transmutation spell that grants advantage on strength checks and counts the target as one size category larger.
Anchoring Rope - a 1st level Evocation spell that allows you to create a spectral rope magically anchored to you and a point you select within range. This can be cast as an action or a reaction.
Ancient Shade - a 5th level Necromancy spell that allows you to call upon the undead to speak to. This differs from speak with the dead by specifically targeting undead, which speak with the dead cannot speak to.
Angelic Guardian - a 1st level Conjuration spell that grants a +2 to AC and advantage on Dexterity saves.
Animal Spy - a 2nd level Divination spell that allows you to put your consciousness into an animal temporarily.

Alchemical Form - a 6th level Transmutation spell that transforms you into an amoebic form made of acid and poisonous jelly.
Ale-dritch Blast - a Conjuration cantrip that shoots a stream of ice cold ale up to 60 feet for 1d8 cold damage.
Allure - a Transmutation cantrip that allows the target to add a d6 to a charisma check.
Ally Aegis - a 6th level Abjuration spell that allows you to react to an ally taking damage and produce a protective shield.
Alone - a 3rd level Enchantment spell that makes a target believe their allies have been banished and act accordingly.
