Oath of Secrecy
Subclass of: Paladin
Paladins who take the Oath of Secrecy commit themselves to the guardianship of the arcane, standing as bulwarks against the encroachment of anti-magic sentiment and the proliferation of technology over divinity and magic. Sworn protectors of spellcasters, magical creatures, and sacred artifacts, these paladins are the silent sentinels of the mystical world, operating under the tenets of Practice, Preserve, Prevent, and Protect. Their allegiance lies with the clandestine Arcanuum, an assembly of mages hidden from the prying eyes of the antimagic, atheistic Order of the Blank. With a suite of oath spells designed to conceal and mislead, such as disguise self, invisibility, and greater invisibility, they excel in subterfuge and the safeguarding of magical practices. Their divine powers allow them to recover spell slots through Channel Divinity, understand and decipher arcane lore, and even cast spells without verbal components within an Aura of Magic. As masters of secrecy, they can spontaneously cast invisibility to evade detection and, at the zenith of their power, become impervious to antimagic effects, ensuring that the magic they are sworn to protect flourishes even in the direst of circumstances.
The Oath of Secrecy is adopted by paladins who swear to defend magic and divinity and to reject the idea of science over divinity or magic. Paladins that devote themselves to the protection and preservation of magic will guard these beliefs even to their graves, refusing the supposed superiority of their adversary’s teachings on the usefulness of technology and the power of arcanhile energy. These paladins hold fast to their magical powers and will use them to defend all things divine and sacred no matter the cost.
Tenets of Secrecy
The Tenets of the Oath of Secrecy were created by paladin members of the Arcanuum - an underground group of mages forced to go into hiding by the antimagic, atheistic Order of the Blank. This oath vows to protect spellcasters, magical creatures and preserve magical items. Its four tenets are plain
Practice. Continue the practice and use of magic, teaching the divine beauty of all things magical.
Preserve. Maintain the conservation of magical items and holy places.
Prevent. Avert the destruction, desecration, and decimation that the enemy is determined to bring forth.
Protect. Shelter and defend magic users, guarding them from the adversary

Channel Divinity
3rd-level Oath of Secrecy feature
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Divine Restoration. You can use your Channel Divinity to recover expended spell slots. You can expend a Channel Divinity to restore a combination of spell slots, with a combined level no higher than half your proficiency bonus (rounded up).
Uncanny Understanding. You can use your Channel Divinity to extend your knowledge of magical lore and items. As a bonus action, you grant yourself a +5 bonus to Intelligence (Arcana) checks for the next 10 minutes.
Arcanuum Glyph Sign
3rd-level Oath of Secrecy feature
Beginning when you take this oath at 3rd level, you are taught the meaning of Glyph Sign. Members of the Arcanuum have taken to memorizing a set of glyphs, each with its own meaning and context when presented with others: ‘safe haven,’ ‘beware here,’ or even ‘100 paces south.’ These signs are carved in inconspicuous places so that they don’t fall into the hands of the Blank and their allies. This counts as a bonus language for you.
(This will not display as a known language)
Aura of Magic
7th-level Oath of Secrecy feature
Starting at 7th level, you and friendly spellcasters within 10 feet of you are able to silently cast spells that require verbal components. Mystical words are instead chanted in your mind and not out loud, if you choose. At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Crafty Caster
15th-level Oath of Secrecy feature
Your quick thinking and elusiveness has saved you countless times. You can cast invisibility or greater invisibility as a bonus action as long as you have a spell slot available.
Antimagic Aversion
20th-level Oath of Secrecy feature
You have reached the pinnacle of your spellcasting prowess. You can use your action to gain the following benefits for the next 10 minutes:
You are immune to all antimagic effects, warps, and spells such as antimagic field. While in the presence of an antimagic effect, you are able to cast spells normally. Your spells are not affected by the antimagic and creatures summoned by you do not disappear. Magical items worn or held by you also retain their magic, and ammunition touched by you remains magical as long as you are the one to use the ammunition.
Your attacks deal double damage against creatures that deal extra damage to spellcasters or that have antimagic-related actions or abilities that are nonmagical.
Once you have used this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
