Fateseeker
Subclass of: Sorcerer
The Fateseeker Sorcerer taps into the mystical powers of destiny and fate. These sorcerers believe that the future is a tapestry woven from the threads of countless possibilities. With their innate magic, they learn to perceive and subtly manipulate these threads, altering the course of events to their design. Fateseeker Sorcerers are often seen as oracles or mystics, capable of foreseeing potential outcomes and bending luck to their will. Their powers enable them to predict and alter key moments, granting them unique control over the battlefield and the flow of their adventures. Embracing their role as agents of destiny, they walk a fine line between guiding fate and overstepping the bounds of their enigmatic powers.
Fateseeker's Insight
You gain proficiency in the Insight skill. If you are already proficient, you may choose another skill. Your connection to the threads of fate sharpens your perception of others' intentions.
Weaver of Possibilities
Once per day, when you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.
Each foretelling roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.
Fated Protection
You have learned to subtly twist the threads of fate to aid your allies or hinder your foes. As a bonus action, you can choose one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. You manipulate the weave of fate around them, granting one of the following effects (your choice):
Fortune's Favor: The target gains advantage on the next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check it makes before the end of your next turn.
Misfortune's Curse: The target suffers disadvantage on the next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check it makes before the end of your next turn.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Strings of Fate
You can manipulate the fate of others. As an action, choose a number of creatures up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of one) within 60 feet of you. Roll a d20; the result is your Fateseeker's Number. For the next minute, whenever one of those creatures makes an attack roll, a saving throw, or an ability check, they can replace their roll with your Fateseeker's Number if they choose.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Master of Destinies
Gain an additional foretelling roll from Weaver of Possibilities, for a total of three rolls. When you use your Fated Protection or Strings of Fate, you can choose to reroll one of the d20s once. You must use the new roll.
