Burokai is a towering demonic minotaur deity, his form adorned in mystical armor that glows with an inner light. His very presence is awe-inspiring, infusing those who look upon him with a sense of courage and righteousness. While he embodies the virtues of bravery and martial skill, he is also known for his stringent code of honor, which he never compromises—even if it means sacrificing his own interests.

Burokai was once a mortal minotaur warrior who ascended to godhood through a trial set by the gods of the Fujiwara pantheon. He was granted divinity under the condition that he would uphold the tenets of honor and fighting. As a god, he has never engaged in combat he considers dishonorable and has even been known to forfeit battles to uphold his principles.

Warriors, soldiers, and martial artists revere Burokai. Even some political figures venerate him, praying for the strength to act honorably in the face of political complexity.

"The Day of Forfeited Victory": A tale recounts how Burokai withdrew from a cosmic battle between gods to uphold his honor, a decision that led to a temporary loss but ultimately inspired his followers to win a larger war guided by his principles.

Burokai once had a promising young champion he intended to officially grant his power to, but the champion was forced into a difficult material realm situation that isolated him from Burokai's reach. Unfortunately, Burokai was never able to award the title to his chosen before his chosen's soul was destroyed in a cataclysmic event.
