Torunomax, the Solar Paragon, is the god of pure, unyielding light—not warmth, but revelation. His domain is not comfort, but clarity: the light that drives out shadow, the brilliance that exposes lies, the blaze that leaves only truth behind. He is justice without compromise and vigilance without sleep.
He appears as a radiant figure of golden light, his form constantly shifting between armored silhouette and burning corona. His face is never fully visible—obscured by divine luminescence—and his voice rings like a cathedral bell struck in a vacuum: thunderous, beautiful, and final.
Torunomax’s realm, Ecliptara, is a fortress of eternal day. Its sky is always at high noon, casting no shadows. Structures of sunsteel and mirrorglass reflect all that enter—both their form and their flaws. Within its walls, celestial adjudicators weigh divine radiance against mortal imperfection.
When Malferion, the Prime Inferno, threatened to unravel the cosmos, Torunomax stood at the front of the divine triad who sealed him within the Cage of Eternities. His contribution was the Barrier of Dawn, a shell of unbreakable solar essence that burns without fuel and cannot be dimmed. Without his strength, the prison would have collapsed under the weight of chaos.
Alongside Arcanoxis (who bound Malferion through arcane structure) and Celethyra (who wove regeneration into the cage), Torunomax stands as a bulwark of cosmic order. The three rarely meet, but when they do, it is only in moments of the highest divine urgency.
His followers include paladins, sun-clerics, inquisitors, and architects of holy order. His temples are constructed from white stone and burnished gold, designed to flood with light. There are no corners in Torunomax’s sanctuaries—only open spaces where nothing can hide.
Miracles associated with Torunomax are unmistakable: sunlight banishing curses, truth revealed through fire, radiant barriers protecting entire cities, or divine radiance blinding the wicked while leaving the innocent untouched. His most feared act is Solar Judgment, when a single sunbeam becomes a divine weapon, disintegrating those beyond redemption in a flash of absolute clarity.
Torunomax does not compromise. He does not console. But to the devoted, his light is not harsh—it is liberation. His greatest praise is to be called “seen,” and his greatest blessing is to burn without shame.
Torunomax was found to have originally granted Zaxon his divine status. After the betrayal of the Orathian gods (later Rotanian gods), Torunomax was one of the first gods to suggest absolute destruction of Palandor, the planet where Orathian gods all dwelled. Torunomax had intended to eat the planet with a sun, until he was convinced to let mortals attempt to resolve the issue of the gods and have them prove their resilience.
